July 20 – July 23: Official Registration
During the registration period, students are able to submit a very brief (only 1-2 sentence) summary of their idea along with their contact information and the contact information of their group if they have one. Don’t have a group but want one? After the registration period ends, if the student has chosen to be paired with another group, interns will work to pair collaborative minds together! You do not need to have a group to join the challenge.
July 26 – August 2: The Challenge is underway!
During this week, students will workshop their ideas and create a final presentation to submit to the judges. Students will have the opportunity to meet with the intern facilitators in fine-tuning their presentations or answering any questions during this time to ensure they’re putting their best foot forward! Final Submissions are due by Sunday August 2nd at midnight, but feel free to submit your idea before this deadline.
August 2 – August 4: Judging
During this time, teams may be asked to meet with volunteer student judges via Zoom to further discuss their ideas or present depending on their submission format! They will have time to deliberate the best ideas moving forward. Also during this time, students’ ideas will be published to the website and various social medias (with consent) to share with the CU community. We want to show off all the hard work and original ideas you’ve come up with!
August 5: Winners Announced
On August 5th, judges will notify Sko Together interns of their final decision, announcing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Teams will be notified and winners will receive their prizes and congratulations from the whole CU community!
